Self defence is the act of defending oneself, one's property or the well-being of another from physical harm. Many people think of self defence as a kick to the groin or jab in the eyes of an attacker. But self defence actually means doing everything possible to avoid fighting someone who threatens or attacks you. Self defence is all about using your head - not your fists.

This page is designed to illustrate a variety of techniques well practised within most Martial Arts and Tae Kwon-Do to aid you in your personal protection and safety during every day life.
